A few days ago, Gameloft announced the launch of a storefront for Disney’s Dreamlight Valley will take place on October 29. At the time, the developer provided little information about the event itself, other than that the broadcast would center around “the next chapter of the Valley and beyond.” However, the game’s official X/Twitter account has begun revealing reasons why fans should tune in, and it’s already a pretty decent list. First tease hints at “unique areas coming” in the new chapter, and it looks like players will have a major new area to explore in the upcoming DLC expansion.

While details are scarce, it looks like we’re getting a second paid expansion that will feature Maleficent and Hades as the main villains (from sleeping Beauty And Herculesrespectively). Based on the architecture in the teaser video, some fans are speculating that Quasimodo is from The Hunchback of Notre Dame may be added as part of this expansion, but nothing is confirmed in this regard.

In addition to this teaser, Gameloft stated that the stream will feature codes for free in-game items. To please fans, the company has already sent out some free items that players can get. Players who access their Disney’s Dreamlight Valley There should be QR codes in the in-game mailbox that can be scanned to receive free avatars for t-shirts and sneakers.

The third and final teaser (for now) concerns the next character to join. Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. Although Gameloft hasn’t stated it directly, we know that Sally is from The Nightmare Before Christmas will be added as part of the late 2024 update. Jack Skellington was added to the game last year, and there have been many hints about Sally’s inclusion. In a joke on X/Twitter, Gameloft writes that “it looks like we’ll have some news about our next Villager… and more about what future updates there may be.” The mention of “stitches” is just the last big hint about Sally’s arrival. The Sally update is the latest in the current roadmap, but we know there will be a new one coming on Tuesday.
WITH Disney’s Dreamlight Valley We’ll know a lot more about Gameloft’s plans for the future in a couple of days. It looks like we can expect a mix of more free and paid content, and hopefully there’s something for everyone. The game has developed a passionate fanbase over the past two years, and players can’t wait to see what else the game has in store.
