GJPD responds to an aggravated robbery at Dairy Queen

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – On October 26, the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) responded to a report of a possible robbery.

Before officers arrived at the Dairy Queen at 709 North Avenue, the suspect left in a red Jeep Cherokee. Authorities later discovered that a man had broken into the freezer, stolen items and confronted an employee with a knife.

At approximately 11:20 p.m., officers stopped a red Jeep Cherokee matching the description of the robbery vehicle in the area of ​​North Avenue and 10th Street.

The suspect was arrested without further incident and no charges have been filed.
