Two arrested in Florida for a .7 million Nashville jewelry store robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Police say two people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a jewelry store that occurred earlier this week.

Dubai Jewelry on Nolensville Pike was robbed of $1.7 million worth of jewelry, including items like a $95,000 belt and a gold bar worth $190,000.

MNPD said 34-year-old Orlando Valdes Hernandez and 38-year-old Milleni Garcia were arrested by officers from the Miami Beach Police Department in Florida.

Police found jewelry, cash and a wig, MNPD said.
