The Hollywood strikes of 2023 have undoubtedly shaken up Marvel’s timeline and release plans for 2024, but the future looks bright. As we set our sights on 2025, there’s a slew of movies and TV shows on the horizon. Fresh off the finale of Agatha All Along, Marvel is gearing up to unveil a wave of new content that fans won’t want to miss. Next year, get ready for the highly anticipated Captain America movie, along with Thunderbolts and the Fantastic Four, all making their debut.
But that’s not all: Marvel’s television show is just as packed with excitement. Recent images of Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, What If…? Season 3 and sneak peeks of Wonder Man, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies have leaked online, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
The clip opens with the Daredevil reboot, featuring Matt Murdock in action, along with a first look at Jon Bernthal as Punisher and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. This exciting series premieres on March 4. After that, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will hit the screens on January 29. Fans can also look forward to Marvel Zombies during Halloween 2025. Eyes of Wakanda will debut on August 6, while Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, is expected to arrive . December 2025.
While appearing on the Official Marvel Podcast in June, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke about the future, saying, “Marvel is The House of Ideas; it has always been The House of Ideas, and I hope we will always remain The House of Ideas. This means taking new storylines and characters to new places. Sometimes they hit, and sometimes they don’t. If you stop trying, you fade away and the whole thing falls in on itself. I think it’s about trying to tell new and unique stories in different ways. We have a show coming up that we’ve talked very little about called Wonder Man, which I won’t talk much about today either, other than to say it’s very different from what we’ve done before.
While most of these shows tie into the current phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Wonder Man will fall under the Marvel Spotlight banner. This means that viewers who haven’t followed every detail of the MCU since Avengers: Endgame can still enjoy the show without feeling confused.
