State police arrest robbery suspect

State police arrested a suspect in multiple robberies in Washington County on Monday.

Adam Jeremy Logan, 38, of Washington, is charged in connection with a robbery at a North Franklin Township convenience store earlier this month.

Last week, North Strabane police identified Logan as a suspect in a robbery that occurred on the evening of Oct. 20 at the Coen store at 2229 Hill Church Houston Road.

According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 16 around 4:20 p.m., state police were called to the marathon at 1390 W. Chestnut St. Logan is accused of brandishing a knife and making off with about $200 and a few packs of cigarettes.

State police shared a photo of Logan with North Strabane and Washington police. Both departments identified him as a suspect in robbery investigations.

Charging documents state that Logan confessed to the Marathon robbery.

District Judge Michael Manfredi arraigned Logan Monday morning and sent him to the Washington County Jail on $500,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.
